BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS


1962 - born in Fort Knox, KY, 1962

1966 - painted first documented portrait (family) on non-archival paper

1969 - first family vacation - watching jets take off and land at St. Louis airport

1979 - decided not to attend Rhode Island School of Design

1984 - earned a BFA from the University of Illinois

1984 to 1986 - worked with Ralph Eckerstrom at Mobium in Chicago

1986 to 1988 - worked at the design firm Bonnell Design Associates in NYC

1989 to 1990 - contemplated in Boston, Chapel Hill and then Urbana, IL

1989 to 2002 - formed the product development company MINC, a wholesale company that designs and manufactures products for retail stores, catalogues and museum stores. MINC has sold more than 600,000 products.

1991-1992 - earned an MFA from the University of Illinois

1992 - chose not to pursue a career in teaching


2003 - first video work, developed a series called QuickSpin - originally intended as a product for late night younger PBS market -
transformed into a virtual variety show for the web


2004 - created and produced a series of five minute talk shows in NY

2006 - worked on a feature film

2008 - first exhibition, first press from second exhibit

2009 - solo exhibition, sold house, moved


2010 - currently resides and works in Santa Fe, NM
